Need Shin Choi apparel at a discount? This is the guide for some of the best alternatives, anywhere online. I've decided to list some websites that seem to consistently have the lowest prices. Below are the websites that I recommend.
After leaving Korea, Ms. Choi studied at Parsons School of Design. Her ready-to-wear line, Coleridge & Co, was launched in 1988. In 1999, the company name was changed to her own, reflecting the keen interest in this talented designer. Her American casual creations transcend seasonal limitations. Easy, comfortable and beautiful, her pieces are the favorites in many closets.
Yarnie is her new contemporary line, featuring easy maintenance and easily combined separates with a playful twist on her established line.
Ms. Choi's designs can be found at Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Liana, her own store, ShopStyle and on her website.
The website at first appears slick with good use of press clippings, celebrity recognition and sex appeal. Once you start shopping, you see that this not bargain basement apparel. So why, oh why, are certain parts of the website looking screwed up? As I'm typing this in February 2014, they are having a "Summer 2011" sale. Really? How about how the bio page is blurry? Oh, and don't go shopping for knits. All they appear to be selling is the word "Knit". You would think for how much they charge for the clothing, they could afford a better webmaster.
FROM THE BLOGS:
After performing a blog search, I immediately had to go back and do a general search just to make sure that this brand was still in existence. There was almost no hint that this might be the name of an apparel company in the search results other than the lone mention of one of their skirts. Normally when it is this difficult to locate a brand in the search results, I just assume that the brand has folded, but that does not seem to be the case here. It just seems that nobody is talking about this label, including those who run the label.
The Winter Olympics are happening right now. I think the curling event is on right now. I find them incredibly boring. Do you as well? Good time to shop:
